, Jun Gumpad, Jay Gumpad, Mark Daquioag, and y
our humble servant) took the highway very early in the morning towards Magsaysay, Saguday, Quirino to attend at the gospel meeting of our brethren. Brother Samuel Gamit is the preacher in this congregation. We had the chance to meet and talk with the brethren and to encourage them more to serve faithfully our God. Brother Florendo Respicio preached a nice lesson about "The Eternal Kingdom of Our Lord Jesus Christ" and he is followed by brother Rody Gumpad with another nice lesson about "Studying the True Church of Christ". Both speakers emphasized on the True church that was built by our Lord Jesus Christ; they even explained that though many churches were claiming that they are the true church the bible clearly states that there is only one true church and that is the church that was built by Christ. After this an invitation song was sung and two souls stepped forward with the desire to obey the gospel and be baptized into Christ for the remission of their sins. After a short lunch we continued with the gospel meeting. I was given the chance to speak with our brethren about "Miracles", here I tried to emphasize that miracles are already over and that we have the bible to confirm our faith. Then brother Jun Gumpad followed after me and discussed the topic of "Sabbath", brother Jay Gumpad also preached about "When the Good Men Do Nothing" and brother Mark Daquioag also taught us a topic about "Appointment".
