August 22: Brethren Rody Gumpad, Tessie Gumpad, Edgar Licodini and his wife, Ricky

pad, Jun Gumpad, and your humble servant occupied the vehicle of brother Rody and we all went to Cordova, Amulung, Cagayan, where brother Elias Pagulayan preaches, to share the gospel to our brethren and friends there. It was a long and bumpy ride but a successful planting of the seed. We met with fellow preachers there also (brethren Robert Rances, Manny Pader, Edgar Corpuz, Rogelio Esperanza), we took turns in leading spiritual songs; I was also able to share Mark 16:15-16 to our brethren and friends and emphasized to them that what we are presenting them are the Words of our lord Jesus Christ, that we are with them to fulfill the commands of our Lord that "we preach the gospel to every creature and that he who believes and is baptized will be saved". Brother Rody Gumpad then preached to us about "Searching the Scriptures" and "The Ark and The Church", the brethren and friends were very attentive and we sensed their thirst and hunger for the Words of God; personally that encouraged me much. After the nice lessons of brother Rody we extended the invitation song and two (2) souls stepped forward (as you can see in the pictures) confessed Christ and expressed their desire to be saved by being baptized into Christ. Please pray for these two new brethren and also to all our brethren at Cordova that they continue in their strong faith and in their service to God, please pray for the little boy also in the picture (he is a special child and he surely gives joy to his parents).
