Gospel Meeting at Alibago Church of Christ

Today we are at Alibago Church of Christ, where I regularly preaches, for our gospel meeting. We have three very good speakers that taught us the gospel of Christ. Brother Jay Gumpad prepared a very nice lesson about the doctrine of "Reincarnation". Brother Ryan Thomas also prepared a very enlightening lesson about "The Keys of Salvation". And brother Rody Gumpad delivered a very challenging lesson on "Fight the Good Fight of Faith". We are truly encouraged and very much edified from the lessons that we heard this afternoon.

Gospel Meeting at Dubeng Church of Christ

After the gospel meeting at Gattu Church of Christ we immediately traveled towards Dubeng, Pamplona, Cagayan to meet the brethren at Dubeng Church of Christ and participate in their gospel meeting. The preacher here is brother Robinson Pulveras. Brother Ryan Thomas preached first about "Luke 23:35: And They Stood Beholding"; after brother Ryan I was requested by the brethren to translate the lesson into our dialect. Brother Rody Gumpad preached last with the lessons "God Has Spoken" and "The Original Church of Christ and the Modern Churches".

Gospel Meeting at Gattu Church of Christ

November 26, 2009: Gattu Church of Christ is located at Gattu, Pamplona, Cagayan and about three hours drive from Tuguegarao City. Our group left at around 7:00 in the morning and arrived at the venue 10:00 in the morning. We are very happy to meet the brethren for, if my memory serves me right, it has been already three years since our last visit here. The place is known to be a place where rebel soldiers and head hunters are but we thank God that He gave us the needed courage and persuaded us to go through to preach the gospel of Christ. Brother Domingo Dangiwan Jr. is the preacher at this place. Brother Ryan Thomas spoke first with the lesson he took from "Luke 23:35: And They Stood Beholding". Brother Rody Gumpad spoke also about "The Destiny of Man". The result of the gospel meeting was very encouraging for eight (8) souls stepped forward during the invitation song, they confessed Christ and expressed their desire to be baptized into Christ. After the meeting we witnessed the baptism of our eight new brethren. Praise be to God.

Worship at Alibago Church of Christ

Brother Ryan Thomas helped us with our worship at Alibago, Enrile this afternoon wherein he preached about "The Seven Blunders of the World". After the very nice lesson presented by brother Ryan we immediately extended the invitation song and two (2) souls stepped forward and confessed Christ. The two were Edith Ramirez and Fely Molina, both of them were attending every Lord's Day for 4 months already and we were really happy when they went forward and expressed their desire to be baptized into Christ. After the worship we immediately brought them to the church building at Tuguegarao Church where we baptized them.

Gospel Meeting at Lacnog Church of Christ

After having our short lunch, we all went to Lacnog Church of Christ at Lacnog, Tabuk, Kalinga to encourage also our brethren in their gospel meeting. Brother Rody Gumpad taught about "The Paradoxes of the Church". The preachers who work hand in hand here are brother Marcos Allib and brother Eddie Tamangen. The brethren were very happy and thankful for the words of Christ.

Gospel Meeting at Sucbot Church of Christ

Our group left Tuguegarao about 7:45 in the morning to arrive early also at the gospel meeting of our brethren at Sucbot Church of Christ in Sucbot, Tabuk, Kalinga. The preacher at this place is brother Sagrado Agdamag. We were very happy driving along the rough roads going to Sucbot until the shock absorber of the vehicle of brother Rody malfunctioned; as a result, the vehicle was brought to a mechanic and we decided to walk some distance until brother Rolando Agpoon came to pick us up. In short, we arrived at Sucbot church of Christ and met the brethren safe and sound. Brother Rody Gumpad taught us lessons about "God Has Spoken" and "The Original Church of Christ and the Modern Churches". As a result of the meeting, three (3) souls went forward, confessed Christ, and were baptized into Christ.

Gospel Meeting at Santa Catalina, Tumauini, Isabela

About 70 kilometers away from Tuguegarao City, Cagayan we find the place of Santa Catalina, Tumauini, Isabela where faithful brethren gather every Lord's Day to worship the same God that we are all serving. This day is another important day for our brethren for a gospel meeting was held to proclaim the gospel of Christ. Brother Rody Gumpad was the requested speaker and he taught the lessons on "The Original Church of Christ and the Modern Churches" for the first 30 minutes and the next 30 minutes he taught "The Work of the Glorious Church". Though no one was baptized it is still another successful meeting because the brethren were greatly edified and the visitors were very much informed of the existence of the True Church of Christ.
